Description

Trifecta Crop Control is a FIFRA (25b) exempt pesticide, fungicide, and miticide made from non-toxic, food grade essential oils that are blended with a nano-saponified emulsifier (soap).

The essential oils used to manufacture Trifecta Crop Control were also chosen for their ability to mitigate and repel pest insects.

Similar to the action that occurs on the lipid shells of molds and mildews, terpenes and terpene alcohols break down the chitin in insect’s exoskeletons. Using our technology the particle size of the essential oils in the water become so small that the respiratory systems of pests are also impacted by contact, essentially suffocating them.

Most commercially available insecticides affect the endocrine systems of pests, and over time pests evolve resistance to these molecules. The respiratory system is different; there is no evolving a resistance to something that prevents the ability to breathe.

Trifecta Crop Control works on molds, mildews, and pests, using food-safe essential oils, and does it in novel ways using a nano sized soap molecule as a delivery vehicle to allow it to do its work.

Trifecta uses clove oil which contains eugenol a terpene that causes cell lysis in fungal species, peppermint oil contains Mentha piperita for reproductive inhibition, garlic oil for repellency, corn oil as a suffocant, citric acid for chelating calcium in insect’s exoskeletons and thyme oil for endocrine disruption.

To make Trifecta we use a proprietary high sheer milling process that cuts the essential oil droplets into nano-sized particles. This nano-sized formulation causes accelerated bio-degrading of the oils so that there is no residue left over within 48 hours.

Our ingredients were chose for specifically for synergies that occurs between all those essential oils, and our manufacturing process is unique. We utilize a high shear homogenization process that shears the soap and essential oils together into smaller and smaller micelle particles.
